GHS and the UN Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods Model Regulations (TDG) are the most important guidance documents on chemical hazard communication in the world. Most countries have adopted these transport regulations into their national regulations. In Canada, it is called the Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG), and in the USA, it is known as the Department of Transport (DOT).

Description:  This course provides an overview of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Act and regulations for managers, employees, and others who need to know about TDG but are not responsible for TDG activities. It includes information about your responsibilities for the transport of dangerous goods, especially for training and certification of company personnel. It will also help you understand the purpose of the TDG Act and Regulations. Terms and concepts, and the requirements of the TDG are clearly explained. Examples and quizzes reinforce learning.

Note: In addition to taking this course, workplace-specific training for the type of substance handled and the type of equipment used must be provided by the employer. Upon completion of the theory and an exam score of 80% has been achieved a wallet and wall certificate will be issued.
