How Does On-Site Training Work?

Onsite training by aiforklifttraining.ca Training will consist of morning theory training followed by an exam followed up by evaluations of the machine you will be operating.

In order for an employee to become certified, both theory and evaluations must be completed and passed before you are certified to operate your specific machine.

The evaluation consists of your knowledge of the machine you will be operating. A combination of the theory portion and your experience will help you pass the evaluation part of the training.

How Long Does Training Take?

Training takes 4-5 hours of theory and practical evaluations depending on experience and the number of participants.

At the end of the theory training, each participant will be required to take part in a Driving Evaluation. This evaluation consists of having the operators use the equipment they would be authorized to operate. 

Upon completion of the theory and practical testing, the student will receive a wallet picture forklift license as well as a certificate of completion. Evaluations will have to be completed onsite by an experienced supervisor or manager or trainer in order to be classified as certified.
